
Dr. Steven Ferriot is one of the most respected cosmetic and reconstructive dentists in San Diego County. Practicing in Bonita and La Jolla since 1973, he has over 37 years experience in restorative, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Dr. Ferriot was born in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Ohio University and his doctorate in dentistry from The Ohio State University. Dr. Ferriot served in the U. S. Navy as a general dentist from 1972-1974. He has committed himself to lifelong learning by attending courses at the leading dental colleges in California and throughout the United States. In recognition of his commitment to continuing education, he was awarded the designation of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ferriot’s awards and honors are many, including fellowships in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of Dentistry International. He is a member of the San Diego County Dental Society, the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Ferriot says, “My special interest is in complex multi-disciplinary cases, in which close interaction and communication with dental specialists lead to exciting and satisfying results for my patients.”
He also has extensive experience in implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals) and removable (dentures) and non-removable (bridges) prosthodontics.
Dr. Ferriot and his wife Jeanie live in the Eastlake area of Chula Vista and have three children and two grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, travel, photography and snow skiing.
